  • What about Support and Training?

    If you are new to Jackrabbit, there is a 99% chance that your question can be resolved with our thorough training guides and videos. They cover the basics and the advanced areas of the system, in an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process. The Tutorial Videos, Training Guides and the Support Button are available in the upper right corner of each screen in the system.

  • How do I Order?

    Our secure “Buy Now” form gets your order to us quickly and easily. You will receive a confirmation via email as soon as your order been processed by our Support team. Already in a Trial? Just fill out a Buy Now form and your trial becomes your “real” system. All your trial data is retained.

  • Is Jackrabbit PCI-DSS Compliant?

    Yes – Jackrabbit is compliant with ePayments data compliance requirements set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).  This is mandated by all major credit card associations including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and DiscoverCard. You can view our PCI-DSS compliance seal on our Security page.

  • How much does it cost?

    The pricing is based on the total number of students in your database, active and inactive.  We bill you on a monthly basis. Towards the end of the month we take the number of students that are in your system and charge you for that number on the following first business day of each month.

    We also have an Unlimited Lead File where you can keep basic contact information for parents and students without increasing your subscription fee. You are not charged based on the number of leads in your system.

  • How long does it take to implement the system?

    We have a Getting Started guide, video and weekly webinar which contain implementation steps that describe how to successfully and quickly implement this system in a week or two.  We also have Jumpstart Coaches that can help you get off to a great start with your implementation.

    You can use our powerful Import Data feature which can import family, student, class and enrollment information (but not financial information) from a simple spreadsheet in a matter of minutes.   • What if my Internet connection goes down?

    If you have a smartphone (Android, iPhone, etc) with at least a 3G connection, you can tether your computer to your phone and access the Internet at near high-speed connection rate.  Some of our clients have www.NetZero.net orwww.NetScape.com as an inexpensive near high-speed connection over a regular dial-up line as a backup.

  • What are the System Requirements?

    Jackrabbit is web-based software. This means that there is nothing to download, no discs or applications to load onto your computer to get started. All you need is a high-speed Internet connection and your User ID & Password to jump right in.

    Preferred browsers for optimal performance are Internet Explorer and Firefox on both PC and MAC computers.

  • Do I need a website to use Jackrabbit?

    If you would like to use Online Registration to its fullest, you will need a website to make your web registration form, class listings and customer portal available to your clients. More information on Online Registration can be found on our help-site.  If you do not have a website but have a Facebook page, you can also integrate online registration with your Facebook fan page.

    You do not need to have a website to access Jackrabbit’s class management and accounting features.

  • What if I don’t have high-speed Internet available at my facility?

    Many cell phone providers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc) offer portable high-speed wi-fi hotspots that can support connections to multiple computers. www.HughesNet.com offers high-speed Internet service via a satellite dish.  Also, www.NetZero.net and www.NetScape.com offer a near high-speed connection (using data compression) over a regular dial-up phone line.  While the system can be used via a dial-up Internet connection, it is just much slower using this method.

  • What has been done to ensure a highly available system?

    Our systems have no single point of failure. This means that every component of the system has a backup that can be used in case of some type of failure. Most of these components are actually set up in such a way that the system will fail-over without causing any down time.

    Our servers are located in a Enterprise Class state-of-the-art computer facility, www.Peak10.com, specifically built for supporting Internet servers. This facility was designed for providing high availability to the Internet. The data center is engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), redundant HVAC systems and fire suppression, as well as 24/7 monitoring and management. It is our belief that our systems will have a higher uptime than your own computer systems.

  • What if I want to terminate my relationship with Jackrabbit Technologies? How do I get my data?

    You can terminate your relationship with Jackrabbit Technologies at anytime.  You can also download your information to Excel at any time to have a backup in your possession.
